Dear Quilting Friends,

Welcome to Top to Bobbin's Machine Quilting Video Series.

We are two people, Jan and Leslie, who love fabric and love to sew. We’ve done it all, from home decorating to tailoring and altering men’s suits to making wedding dresses of beaded sequined Alencon lace. When Jan told Leslie that she really wanted to get into quilting, Leslie (like many non quilters) responded “What? Sew all those little squares together? You must be kidding!” Jan insisted it couldn’t be like that since so many people were doing it and the quilts, they were soooo lovely. Well, since Leslie had a son going off to college and “Wouldn’t a quilt be the perfect send off?” Leslie and Jan went to a quilt shop and investigated. On that day, two new quilting admirers were born.

This is when we decided to start producing quilting videos and spread the word about how quilting really isn’t about sewing a bunch of little squares together – we decided to make quality videos that demonstrate valuable quilting techniques and sewing tips for all sewers of all levels. We know how difficult it is to get started. Each video provides step-by-step details and everything you need to know about making a quilt. We just don't touch on instructions here and there; we cover all the basics of quilting. Every video is jam-packed with educational information averaging one hour and 45 minutes. The nicest thing about our videos is you can follow each step; making your own quilt as you watch. You can also jump any where in the video and continue from where you left off.

As always, we leave nothing out. We show you everything from Top to Bobbin. So if you have the time, we have the know-how.
